An energetic, participatory workshop exploring the deep connection between rhythm, narrative and community.
Led by Oluwasegun Lafup Ogundipe (writer and performer of Ìlọ́yá), participants will learn traditional drumming techniques, discover how rhythm drives storytelling, and experience the communal power of African performance traditions.
No prior experience necessary - suitable for all ages and abilities. Come and have a go!
Oluwasegun will also be busking in the morning of the day around town, so keep your ears out and come pop by!
