African Drumming & Storytelling Workshop with Oluwasegun Lafup Ogundipe

    An energetic, participatory workshop exploring the deep connection between rhythm, narrative and community. 

    Led by Oluwasegun Lafup Ogundipe (writer and performer of Ìlọ́yá), participants will learn traditional drumming techniques, discover how rhythm drives storytelling, and experience the communal power of African performance traditions. 

    No prior experience necessary - suitable for all ages and abilities. Come and have a go! 

    Oluwasegun will also be busking in the morning of the day around town, so keep your ears out and come pop by!

    For safeguarding purposes, please let us know if you are coming with anyone under the age of 18 here, after you have booked for the event.

    In addition to the workshop, Segun will be performing Ìlọ́yá … Let The Journey Begin? at George Street Chapel on Thursday 19 March.
