Famous Faces and Local Voices Spread Festive Cheer for Oldham Coliseum Theatre

This Christmas, famous faces and local voices have come together online to spread festive cheer for Oldham Coliseum Theatre and Not Too Tame’s seasonal production, Jim Cartwright’s A Christmas Fair, currently playing at Chadderton Town Hall until 2 January.

The heart-warming social media campaign features well-known North West stars alongside members of the Oldham community, all sharing what they love most about Christmas. From family traditions and festive treats to over-indulging and having fun - the campaign captures the spirit of the season.


Stars taking part include Gemma Atkinson and David Morrissey, alongside a host of celebrated performers from stage and screen. The campaign also features actor Lee Toomes, appearing in character as the caretaker from A Christmas Fair, delivering a festive message straight from the world of the show.


Running across Oldham Coliseum Theatre and Not Too Tame’s social media platforms, the campaign brings together national recognition and strong local pride. Alongside household names, the videos shine a spotlight on Oldham people and businesses, including a local florist, a tattoo artist and the The Fox and Pine pub.


Celebrities and performers involved include Gemma Atkinson, David Morrissey, Jeff Hordley, Anthony Quinlan, Jamie Lomas, Nikki Sanderson, Nicola Stephenson, Amelia Flanagan, Michael Parr, Sally Carman-Duttine, Jodie Prenger, Patti Clare, Steve Halliwell, Ash Palmisciano, Dominic Brunt, Michael Le Vell, Jane Hazlegrove, Joe Gill and Tony Audenshaw to name a few.


The campaign supports A Christmas Fair, written by Jim Cartwright and directed by Jimmy Fairhurst, a festive production celebrating storytelling, community spirit and shared experiences at Christmas. The show runs at Chadderton Town Hall until 2 January.
