Coliseum Associate Artists Dare to Know Theatre are looking for people from Oldham and the surrounding areas to work with them to create, devise and perform a brand new play this October.

Dare to Know Theatre are a local theatre company from Oldham who are committed to making work with and for the local community. The play will look at why some people feel the need to leave Oldham, and what makes others stay in the town. Everyone has a story, and they would love to hear yours.. The group will meet weekly for a few hours in the evening for a very relaxed session,

All are invited to join the group, whether you’ve been on stage before, committed to amateur dramatics, or never stepped foot on stage in your life. To get involved you must be aged 18+, however should you need to bring your children along, they are welcome during sessions.

Dare to Know Theatre's previous community play, One for Sorrow, Two for Joy was performed at The Grange Theatre in 2021 and included 30 members of the Oldham community of a variety of ages and backgrounds - many of whom had never performed before, but can't wait to do it again.
