Pathways is the Coliseum's umbrella training and development programme that provides young people aged 13-30, critically those who would not ordinarily consider accessing the theatre, with opportunities to take part in collaborative theatre making projects and access routes to further develop.

Pathways: Theatre Makers (13 - 18 years)

A youth theatre project where participants practically experience theatre making from a variety of perspectives, for example, exploring the process of a writer, producer and designer, in addition to that of a director and actor. Young people will work collectively to produce project pieces and plays in a multi-disciplinary way; allowing them to explore/experiment in developing new skills within and through varied creative roles.

Pathways: Teaching Theatre (NEET YP)

Teaching Theatre is the Coliseum's flagship training programme for young people not in education, employment or training. Participants work alongside industry professionals from a range of areas to learn new skills in a professional environment before putting their skills into practice through a range of creative briefs. Participants are assigned a mentor and supported in their next steps.
