The Very Best of British Asian Music, Comedy and Dance

Variety is key as the best in British Asian entertainment unite to showcase their different talents. The line-up features top bands, online sensations and TV stars.

Hussnain Lahori is a singer-songwriter. His original songs have reached the Top 10 in the iTunes World Chart and his videos have received over seven million views on YouTube.

With their unique tribute to Michael Jackson, dance duo Signature were runners-up in Britain’s Got Talent 2008. Since then, they have made numerous TV appearances and even featured in the 2012 Olympics opening ceremony.

AlphaNomega’s music is a fusion of Asian and Western influences. Drawing inspiration from artists and genres as varied as AR Rahman, Sting and Britpop, their performances are a truly British Asian experience.

Mani Liaqat is an actor, comedian, presenter and host, best known as the 2008 winner of the Great Indian Laughter Challenge UK. He is known for his bizarre rants, portly figure, witty voice and mixture of Punjabi/Urdu/Hindi and British everyday-humour.

The event is hosted by Marcus Nisar.

Variety is the Spice is a part of Alchemy. Presented by Oldham Coliseum Theatre, Black Country Touring, Cast in Doncaster and Southbank Centre, London.
