Snow White
Thursday 2 June, 2.30pm & 6pm
“It’s magic…a clear and comic telling of the story that children will remember all their lives.” The Stage on Engine House’s Red Riding Hood.
There’s plenty in the show to please little people and big people too in this fast paced version of the familiar fairy tale, Snow White. It’s mayhem in the kitchen for sisters, Bijou and Beryl, the clumsy cooks who look after the royal household and the king’s daughter, Snow White. It’s a kitchen crammed with cooking, chaos and cakes. Snow White features the comic talents of Maggie Fox and Sue Ryding who will be familiar to Coliseum audiences as the theatre duo, Lip Service. You’ll know them from their appearances here with Inspector Norse, Desperate To Be Doris and Withering Looks. They’re described by the Independent newspaper as: “Britain’s favourite literary lunatics.”
Snow White is directed by the Olivier award winning Mike Kenny and Engine House are the company behind the acclaimed productions of Red Riding Hood and Flat Stanley.
For children aged 4 - 8 plus and their families. Suitable for children younger than 4 too.
